GP courses are moving online, yes and in more ways than you may first imagine. I wanted to share this video animation which is humerous but does make the point very well that busy GPs are very time stretched and have been finding it harder and harder to attend traditional medical education conferences and GP courses requiring time consuming and costly travel to various locations.
There's been a mushrooming of online learning resources, and the most exciting for gp courses are cpd webinars. These have many advantages over passive online e-learning courses which have been in existence for several years now on various medical websites offering ongoing education for gp. Yes gp education online is evolving, gp cpd points are available for attending gp courses utilising cpd webinars allowing quality live and interactive cpd online.
